Join us for a fun-filled evening and unleash your inner-artist by creating a watercolor painting of stunning New Hampshire fall foliage. What’s not to love about white birches in the fall?!
Local artist and instructor, Patti Warren, will lead workshop participants in a step-by-step watercolor painting experience. Patti will explain, demonstrate and guide you through the completion of a beautiful painting of fall foliage in New Hampshire, featuring beautiful and picturesque white birches. All supplies will be provided.
Event price includes one complimentary beverage ticket, a “behind the scenes” tour of the Newport Opera House (which will begin promptly at 6:00PM), and your painting!

The Newport Opera House Association, in partnership with Nathan Gardner and Danny Brooke, is proud to present
REAL GHOST STORIES, taking place at The Newport Opera House on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 7:30pm featuring ADAM BERRY, host and executive producer of Discovery+ and The Travel Channel’s smash hit program KINDRED SPIRITS and GHOST HUNTERS!
The evening serves as a benefit for the Newport Opera House and will feature some of Mr. Berry’s most unique and spooky stories and personal experiences.
Audiences will hear first-hand accounts of true paranormal experiences and investigations from Kindred Spirits and Ghost Hunters as well as some of Adam’s personal experiences and stories never before told on television.
The audience will also get a chance to learn more with a Question/Answer period following the main presentation and a post-show meet and greet period with Adam.
As a special bonus, VIP
tickets will be available to join Adam in a private post-show paranormal investigation of the
haunted Opera House.

The Mount Royal Academy Knights Theater in partnership with the Newport Opera House Association, bring to life the laughably, spooky tale of The Canterville Ghost!
An average American family acquires historic old Canterville Chase, a classic English manor house, complete with ghost! Sir Simon, the sporting spirit, succeeds in making life miserable. Then the Americans strike back. Sir Simon feels this is hardly fair, so he enlists the aid of some ghostly friends, and other things that go bump in the night. Life is hectic and fantastically funny around Canterville Chase until the real solution to the problem of the galloping ghost is discovered.
The perfect family comedy to liven up the fall season!

The most popular and sought after big band of all time returns to stage of the historic Newport Opera House, Newport, NH, for one night only!
On Friday, November 22, 2024, The World Famous Glenn Miller Orchestra will delight you as they perform their greatest hits and timeless classics, including “In the Mood,” Chattanooga Choo Choo,” Pennsylvania 6-5000,” “String of Pearls” and their theme song “Moonlight Serenade,” as they continue their national tour. In addition to all of Glenn Miller’s biggest hits this special show will include a few songs to kick off the upcoming holiday season!
Over 18 musicians and singers will bring the unforgettable Glenn Miller sound to life on the stage of the Newport Opera House, as they perform those songs that everyone remembers. Touring continuously since 1956, the Glenn Miller Orchestra travels over 100,000 miles each year, playing nearly 300 dates.
The Newport Opera House is the perfect venue for this concert and if you feel “In the Mood,” dancing will be available! This is a must-see show for fans of big band music, jazz and swing!
