The Newport Opera House Association is thrilled to bring Roald Dahl\u2019s Willy Wonka<\/em> to life\u2014and we\u2019re searching for performers of all ages to join the fun! From the eccentric Willy Wonka to the curious kids, colorful families, and mischievous Oompa-Loompas, this high-energy musical offers something for everyone who loves to sing, act, and tell a great story<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Auditions:<\/span>
\nFebruary 17 @ 6 PM: Ages 8 – 17
\nFebruary 18 @ 6 PM: Ages 18 & older
\nFebruary 19 @ 6 PM: Callbacks<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

What to bring? A song (accompanist provided) and your passion for storytelling! Acting scenes will be provided for select roles.<\/span><\/p>\n

Willy Wonka, Candy Man, Phineous Trout, Charlie Bucket, Mr. & Mrs. Bucket, Grandpa Joe, Grandpa George, Grandma Josephine, Grandma Georgiana, Augustus Goop, Mrs. Gloop, Veruca Salt, Mr. Salt, Mike Teavee, Ms. Teavee, Violet Beauregarde &\u00a0 Mrs. Beauregarde.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ensemble: Mixed ages, male & female, ages 8+ (Charlie\u2019s friends, other parents, cooks, squirrels & Oompa-Loompas.)<\/span><\/p>\n
